Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) will launch direct Chizou to Beijing Capital flights with effect from July 29. The new airport, the fifth civilian airport in Anhui province, will be operational by the end of this July after four years' construction and preparation. Further flights are planned to Xiamen, Qingdao Jiaodong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Xi'an Xianyang to be followed by international flights to South Korea, Japan and Southeast Asia, probably in the form of charter flights, later this year.
