Sunwing Airlines (Toronto Pearson) has signed an agreement with Irish lessor, AWAS Aviation Capital, for one B737-800 set to operate with the Canadian carrier on a long-term lease. The new aircraft will be delivered directly from Boeing (BOE, Washington National) and is from AWAS backlog of B737-800 orders. Leisure carrier Sunwing currently has thirteen B737-800s in its fleet.
