American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has taken delivery of its first sharklet-equipped A319-100, N8001N (c/n 5678), following a ferry flight from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Dallas/Fort Worth via Bangor International. According to the airline, the A319s will begin service in September from their Dallas/Fort Worth hub to Charlotte International, Cleveland Hopkins, Memphis International and Wichita Eisenhower.
