China Cargo Airlines (CK, Shanghai Hongqiao) has parked its last remaining MD-11F, B-2179 (msn 48545), at Shanghai Pudong, effectively ending its service carrier with the airline. The move is part of the airline's fleet renewal and rationalisation programme which has also seen it withdraw its fleet of three A300-600(F)s from service with its sole B757-200PF now also slated for retirement. China Cargo also operates six B777F and five B747-400F freighters.
