Skyjet Aviation (Canada) (DU, Québec) has had its Air Operators certificate suspended by Transport Canada with effect from August 15 owing to various "non-compliances" discovered during a recent inspection. The Canadian regulator did not elaborate on what the shortcomings were but stated that once the appropriate corrective measures are taken, it will reinstate Skyjet's operating licence. Founded in 2007 by bus company, La Québécoise, Sky Jet specializes in the charter business operating a fleet of Beech 1900D, Cessna Citation, Piper Navajo and Beech King Air aircraft.
