Fly Alliance (KPO, Wilmington New Castle) has sold Part 135 charter certificate #3GJA878N and Part 145 maintenance certificate #WAVR866D to Cove Capital Investments, a company co-owned by Fly Alliance's former owner and co-founder Kevin Wargo, Private Jet Card Comparisons has reported.
The deal, which closed on October 30, follows a similar agreement in August, under which Altitude Parts, a Cove Capital Investments-owned company, acquired Fly Alliance's aircraft parts inventory and warehouse facilities.
Fly Alliance's Part 135 certificate covers 18 aircraft, including a Global Express, a Citation Excel, two Citation XLS Gen2s, two Citation Latitudes, a GIV-G300, a GIV, six GIV-SPs, a GV, a Hawker 800XP, a Hawker 800XPi, and a Hawker 900XP. Three Gulfstream Aerospace jets are expected to transition to a new operator.
Both certificates, now held by Cove Capital Investments, will do business as Atelier Aviation, which will be focused on operating large-cabin aircraft.
Cove Capital Investments further holds an ownership interest in Sky Travel, another Part 135 operator which, according to Wargo, will operate alongside Atelier Aviation. Sky Travel manages twelve Hawker 400XPs, three of which are available for charter, and will focus on charter and jet card services under the recently launched Sky Travel Club.
Fly Alliance future
Following the sale, Fly Alliance will continue as a brand, retaining 355 jet card members and 35 full-time employees. The company's formerly managed fleet will be operated by Atelier Aviation and another operating partner yet to be announced.
In mid-2026, Fly Alliance secured a San Marino AOC under Fly Alliance (San Marino) with a Global Express. At the time, the company was seeking an Indian non-scheduled operator's permit (NSOP), then expected in the fourth quarter of 2027, to operate Legacy 600, Legacy 650, and Global Express aircraft.
