China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) has withdrawn its fleet of two B747-400Fs, B-2473 (msn 32803) and B-2461 (msn 32804), from active service with effect from September 3 with both aircraft currently parked at Shanghai Pudong. The airline's cargo operation will instead focus on consolidating its dedicated-freight operations using its six B777Fs. Two more of the twinjet freighters are expected later this year with another four in 2015. Meanwhile, the carrier's passenger operations will see the E190 introduced onto its first international flights from Guangzhou to Hanoi Noi Bai International and Manila Ninoy Aquino International with effect from October 27. The Embraers are currently used on exclusively domestic flights with Guangzhou and Urumqi forming the mainstay of their operations.
