Azman Air (AZM, Kano) has seen its first B737-300, G-TOYH (msn 28570), formerly with bmibaby (Nottingham East Midlands), roll out the paint shop at Norwich International in the United Kingdom. A second ex-bmibaby B737-300 (msn 28557) is due shortly. Run by entrepreneur Abdul Manafi Yunusa, Azman intends to serve Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Gombe, Maiduguri, Port Harcourt Awolowo, Sokoto and Yola initially. According to its website, flights from Kano to Dubai International, Jeddah International and Cairo International are also planned as are direct flights from Abuja to Accra and Delhi International.
