Air Costa (Vijayawada) has received its Air Operators Licence from the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), thereby clearing the way for it to start operations, tentatively scheduled for Q4 of this year. Backed by the LEPL group, Air Costa intends to launch with two E170s and two E190s with its initial network to consist of flights from Vijayawada to: Hyderabad International, Chennai, Bengaluru International, Ahmedabad and Jaipur. Thereafter, flights to Pune, Goa Dabolim, Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram and Vishakhapatnam will be added at a later stage.
