American Airlines (AA, Dallas/Fort Worth) has taken delivery of its first A321-200 (SL), N101NN (cn 5834), following its ferry flight routed Hamburg Finkenwerder - Bangor International - Dallas/Fort Worth. Intended as a replacement for the airline's fleet of B767-200(ER)s, N101NN is the first of an order with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for 64 of the type and will be inducted into service in early 2014 on flights between New York JFK and Los Angeles International.
