Ethiopian Airlines (ET, Addis Ababa International) has resumed flights to Semera, north-east Ethiopia, with a 3x weekly service from Addis Ababa International via Makale based on ch-aviation schedule data. One of Ethiopian's thirteen DHC-8-400s is currently used on the route. The airfield's terminal, tower and runway were recently renovated by the Ethiopian Airports Enterprise to the tune of ETB10million (USD0.52million).
