Aeromar Airlines (México City International) will resume scheduled flights from México City International and Piedras Negras to Monclova, Frontera from February 17, 2014. It will operate three times weekly with ATR42-500s from México City via Monclova to Piedras Negras. As it stands, Aeromar will be the only scheduled carrier to serve the north-Mexican city. While the terminal has been undergoing extensive remodelling, the airfield has remained open to General & Business aviation traffic.
