Greenland Express (Aalborg) has now set a definitive launch date of June 17 following the arrival of its first F100 at its base in Aalborg, Denmark, earlier this week. With lessor Denim Air ACMI (Amsterdam Schiphol) having successfully transferred PH-MJP (cn 11505) onto its Dutch Air Operator Certificate, so the aircraft is now undergoing scrutiny by the Danish Transport Authority. All certification and paperwork is expected to be complete in time for the launch.

A backup aircraft will be based out of the Netherlands and has already been registered on the Dutch ACMI specialist's AOC.

Greenland Express will offer flights connecting Greenland with Iceland and Denmark.
