easyJet (London Luton) has announced plans to open its first Dutch and 26th European network base at Amsterdam Schiphol with effect from spring next year. During a press conference, easyJet CEO Carolyn McCall said three A320-200s would be stationed at Amsterdam to allow it to improve its flight timings as well as expand its network coverage.
In addition to existing flights to Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, the Czech Republic and Croatia, easyJet intends to add more routes to its network next year with Hamburg to be added in November already.
