Germania Flug (Zurich) will commence operations next year with its initial fleet to consist of two A319-100s the aeroTELEGRAPH has reported.
A joint-venture between Germania and Swiss tour operator, Hotelplan, will commence scheduled services in Summer 2015 with flights to Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey, Djerba in Tunisia, Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada in Egypt, and Kerkyra, Kos Hippocrates, Irakleion, Mykonos, Rhodes International, Thira Santorini, and Zakinthos in Greece. Flights for Hotelplan will be operating under the HolidayJet (Zurich) brand.
Prior to the project's establishment, Hotelplan had used B737-800s leased from Travel Service Airlines (Prague Václav Havel) and A320-200s sourced from Egypt's Air Cairo (SM, Cairo International) to offer leisure flights throughout the Mediterranean.
