Qazaq Air (Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev) will commence scheduled services to the south-western town of Taldy Kurgan later next month.

Central Asia Aero News indicates the flights - the airport's only scheduled service - will operate as a stopover between the Kazakh metropolises of Almaty International and Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Currently, the town's main road to Almaty is undergoing renovation making access to the rest of the country difficult.
