NovoAir (VQ, Dhaka) has taken delivery of its maiden ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) hardware following the arrival of ATR72-500 S2-AHG (cn 805) in Dhaka on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
The turboprop is one of three of the type the Bangladeshi carrier plans to acquire with the other two due for delivery later this month.
Until now, Novo Air had operated an all-jet fleet of three E145s on flights to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Jessore, and Sylhet domestically and Yangon regionally.
