SalamAir (OV, Muscat) is planning to lease a trio of A320-200s for its initial launch requirements recently appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Francois Bouteiller has revealed.
Of former flynas (XY, Riyadh) fame, Bouteiller told The Times of Oman that the start-up LCC is on track to launch later this quarter.
Earlier this year, Khalid bin Hilal Al Yahmadi, the CEO of Salam Air's parent, the Muscat National Development and Investment Company (ASAAS), said initial operations would launch during the third week of December with Salalah-Muscat flights.
