SunExpress Deutschland (Frankfurt International) has launched operations with three ex-Ryanair (FR/Dublin) B737-800s on June 7. It has taken over the twice daily Frankfurt Intl-Antalya route from parent Sun Express (XQ/Antalya) as well as several services between Germany and Adana, Ankara Esenboga, Elazig, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Malatya, Samsun and Trabzon. It is planning to add three B737-800s later this year and to operate up to fifteen B737-800s in some years also to destinations in Egypt. Sun Express Deutschland has also launched weekly B737-800 service from Cologne/Bonn to Adana on June 16.
