Cimber Sterling (Sønderborg) has given up its Copenhagen Kastrup-London City route on September 19 and not resumed its seasonal routes from Copenhagen Kastrup to Bordeaux, Edinburgh and Lisbon this summer season and the Billund/Copenhagen Kastrup-Verona services last winter. It has not launched its previously announced Copenhagen Kastrup-Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen services. It also no longer serves its Billund-Paris CDG, Copenhagen Kastrup-Newcastle and Copenhagen Kastrup-Zurich routes this summer and will give up its Copenhagen Kastrup-Belgrade route on August 29 and its Billund-Dublin route on October 28. In better news, it has received a 32 million USD investment from Mansvell, a Cyprus based investment holding controlled by Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomojskyj. Mansvell already owns City Airline (CF/Gothenburg Landvetter) and Skyways (JZ/Stockholm Arlanda) and has announced plans to create a Nordic regional airline by combining the three carriers.
