Air Alsie (6I, Sønderborg) plans to establish scheduled operations between Sønderborg and Copenhagen Kastrup in competition to DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding) with a group of local investors from Southern Denmark. It plans to lease either an ATR 42 or ATR 72 turboprop to launch the flights. Cimber Sterling (Sønderborg) had been replaced on the route by Danish Air Transport following its bankruptcy. DAT currently offers up to four daily round-trips on the route with ATR 42s. Air Alsie operates a fleet of approximately twenty business jets already but has so far not operated scheduled services.
