EVA Air (BR, Taipei Taoyuan) has ended B747 operations following the retirement of its last remaining B747-400F on Tuesday, June 4. B-16407 (msn 27899) conducted its last revenue service as flight BR619 Los Angeles International-Taipei Taoyuan.
It, along with sistership B-16406 (msn 27898), has been sold to Air Atlanta Icelandic (CC, Reykjavik Keflavik) with the latter having already been transferred to the Icelandic register as TF-AMR.
EVA Air's freighter fleet now consists of four B777Fs with one more on order from Boeing.
According to the ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module, out of 247 B747-400 freighters, 180 are still active at 45 airlines across the globe.
