GoJet Airlines (G7, St. Louis Lambert International) has announced it will expand its US East Coast operations by adding a crew base at Richmond International, VA, in the autumn of 2021.

The regional airline - operating as United Express on behalf of United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) - made the announcement on social media. A spokesman subsequently told ch-aviation that it plans to have 30 crews, which will consist of 60 pilots and 30 flight attendants, in place in Virginia this coming autumn. The carrier also plans on having three overnight aircraft in Richmond and has already stationed 14 mechanics there.

GoJet is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, and already has crew bases at St. Louis, Chicago O'Hare, Denver International, and New York Newark, according to the ch-aviation PRO airlines module.

The company spokesman confirmed the airline operates a fleet of fifty CRJ550 regional jets. As previously reported, it is currently the only operator of the CRJ550.
