DHL Air (D0, Nottingham East Midlands) has inducted its first B777-200F into service after G-DHLY (msn 67138) was ferried from Everett to Nottingham East Midlands over the course of February 7-8, 2022. It has since been deployed on flights to Glasgow Prestwick and Leipzig/Halle.

The British unit of DHL Express also operates three B757-200(PCF)s, five B757-200(SF)s, one B767-300ER(BDSF), and three B767-300Fs. It also has two A330-300s undergoing P2F conversion at Dresden airport.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows G-DHLY is also the first B777-200F operated by any DHL-branded carrier. AeroLogic, a 50/50 joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Group, operates twenty B777-200Fs, of which at least four are owned by DHL Worldwide Express. The DHL in-house lessor also owns two B777-200Fs operated on its behalf by Atlas Air (5Y, New York JFK) and another four units of the type operated by Kalitta Air (K4, Detroit Willow Run).

DHL International ordered fourteen B777-200Fs in 2018, which were delivered between May 2019 and August 2021. In early 2021, the firm ordered a further eight units with deliveries starting in 2022. At least one more unit from this batch will be operated by DHL Air, while the operators of the remaining six aircraft have yet to be disclosed.
