Air Algérie (AH, Algiers) president Mohamed Salah Boultif has announced a five year development plan to transform the carrier’s network into a hub and spoke operation offering more connections via Algiers instead of its current focus on point to point traffic. It also plans to add more destinations in Asia in addition to Beijing Capital. As part of the plan, Air Algérie wants to order three more 150 seat aircraft, likely B737-800s, as well as two freighters and to replace its fleet of three B767-300ERs.
