Dan Air (DN, Bucharest Baneasa) took delivery of its first A320-200 and inducted it into service on July 23, 2022.

Owned by Aviator Capital, YR-DSE (msn 2479) is a 17.2-year-old jet that was ferried post-maintenance from Craiova to Suceava on July 23 and subsequently operated its first flight to Antalya on behalf of Air Bucharest (Bucharest Baneasa). Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows it continues to operate mainly on behalf of Air Bucharest - a passenger charter specialist with no active in-house aircraft - but has also flown single charters under Dan Air's own code.

Then known as Just Us Air, Dan Air operated a single A320 between 2019 and 2020 but retired it during the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2021, it revealed plans to reinduct the type with three units planned for 2022. The other two units, YR-RAM (msn 3782) and VT-INY (msn 3863), remain in storage at Craiova airport. Dan Air also operates one A319-100 for Air Serbia (JU, Belgrade).
