Air Côte d'Ivoire (HF, Abidjan) has placed a firm order with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for two A330-900s, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2024 and the second quarter of 2025, respectively.

"They will be configured in a four-class layout with 240 seats. With the induction of these two long-haul aircraft into the Air Côte d'Ivoire fleet, the company will launch its flights to Europe, the Middle East, and the USA," the carrier said, without revealing the specific routes it hopes to serve.

The ch-aviation fleets module shows Air Côte d'Ivoire does not currently operate any widebody aircraft. Its fleet comprises two A319-100s, two A320-200s, one A320-200N, and four DHC-8-Q400s. As reported, the carrier recently axed its commitment for two A319-100Ns, presumably in a package deal related to the order for the A330-900s.

While Air Côte d'Ivoire's network is currently exclusively continental and focused on West Africa, it extends as far north as Casablanca Mohamed V and as far south as Johannesburg O.R. Tambo.
