Wasaya Airways (WP, Pickle Lake) inducted its first ATR72-200(F) on December 22, 2022, with a sistership due to follow in early January 2023.

C-GWRD (msn 423) operated its first, and so far, only commercial flight from Thunder Bay to Pickle Lake, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. It is the first of a pair of ex-Hawaiian Airlines aircraft acquired by the Canadian regional specialist in May 2022. They were operated by Empire Airlines (EM, Coeur d'Alene Pappy Boyington) under the 'Ohana brand until Hawaiian Airlines discontinued its in-house freighter services in October 2020.

"Our second ATR72 will go online in the new year. We look forward to being able to provide more lift to meet the growing needs of the communities in the north," the airline said.

C-GWRQ (msn 432) remains parked at Bar River awaiting service entry.

The airline also owns an ACT!AT4230F, C-FCIJ (msn 139), which, however, has been in storage at Red Lake since September 2021. Other than that, Wasaya Airways' fleet includes a variety of smaller aircraft: one DHC-8-Q300, one DHC-8-300, two DHC-8-100(PF)s, one DHC-8-100, one PC-12/45, four BAe 748 Series 2As, one Cessna (single turboprop) C208B, and six Beech 1900Ds.
