Air Algérie (AH, Algiers) has firmed its order with Boeing (BOE, Washington National) for eight B737-9s with deliveries expected to begin in 2027.

The state-owned carrier revealed that it would operate the new-generation narrowbodies in two configurations: one seating 170 passengers, and the other seating 210 passengers. It did not disclose their exact split.

The order is a part of the recently announced fleet renewal programme, which will also see Air Algérie ordering five A330-900s and two A350-1000s from Airbus.
