Sudan Airways (SD, Khartoum) has signed a cooperation agreement with Eritrean Airlines (Asmara) that will see Eritrean operating some flights on behalf of Sudan Airways out of Khartoum. According to the African Aviation Tribune, Eritrean will initially operate on routes from Khartoum to Juba and the United Arab Emirates where Sudan Airways currently offers flights to Abu Dhabi International, Dubai International and Sharjah. Sudan Airways is short of aircraft due to maintenance issues caused by the lack of spare parts for its A300-600 fleet which likely explains the agreement. Eritrean only operates a single B767-200ER E3-AAQ (MSN 23309) itself but wet-leases an A319-100 and an A320-200 from BH Air - Balkan Holidays Air (8H, Sofia).
