Polet (Voronezh Chertovitskoye) General Manager and majority shareholder, Anatoly Karpov, says the airline is considering the possibility of purchasing "at least" five 150-seat medium-haul Airbus A320s or Boeing 737s before April 2014 to help satisfy market demand for charter flights from Voronezh Chertovitskoye to Greece, Spain and Turkey. The carrier says it is "looking for" funds and suppliers, with negotiations said to be "in progress". However, the project does hinge on Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency - Rosaviatsiya - certifying Voronezh Chertovitskoye airport for A320/737 operations, a development Mr Karpov believes should be in place by the end of August. Though more well-known for its heavy-lift freighter fleet of two An-124s, Polet also operates two An-148-100s, five Saab 2000s and five Saab 340Bs.
