Colorful Guizhou Airlines (GY, Guiyang) has taken delivery of its first of seven E190s on order from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International). Skyliner Aviation indicates B-3115 (cn 19000701) was ferried from the Embraer plant at São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International in Brazil to China via Recife, Gran Canaria, Athens, and Shymkent this past weekend.
A joint-venture between Guizhou Industrial Investment Group (95%) and Weining County Construction Investment Group (5%), Colorful Guizhou hopes to begin commercial operations by the end of the year. Initial operations will cover scheduled domestic passenger flights out of its Guiyang hub.
