Iran Aseman Airlines (EP, Tehran Mehrabad) is destined to acquire the bulk of a proposed order for twenty-five M90s Iran's Deputy Transport Minister Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan has said.

Speaking to the Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA), Kashan said talks with the Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation (Nagoya Chubu) were still in their early stages with no definitive agreement yet signed.

Reports in the Japanese media claim IranAir (IR, Tehran Mehrabad) has already reached out to Mitsubishi over a possible order for eighty MRJ90s for use on domestic flights.

For its part, Iran Aseman's narrowbody fleet entails three A320-200s, four ATR72-200s, two ATR72-500s, three B727-200s, two B737-400s, and eighteen Fokker 100s.
