Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) has announced it will resume scheduled passenger flights out of Vitoria, in northern Spain, early next year.
Effective March 26, 2017, the LCC will offer 2x weekly flights to Milan Bergamo followed three days later by a 2x weekly service to Tenerife Sur.
The flights will become the Basque airport's only year-round, scheduled commercial passenger service. At present, it only sees regular flights (through Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas)) during the summer season.
Ryanair last served Vitoria back in 2007 offering flights to London Stansted and Dublin International. Vitoria is a hub for DHL cargo operations already.
