Air Arabia Maroc (3O, Casablanca Int'l) has announced it will open a base in Agadir, a city along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, during the last quarter of the year.

Effective October 1, the Moroccan budget carrier said it will use a single A320-200 to open up 2x weekly flights to each of the following cities: Munich; Cologne/Bonn; Copenhagen Kastrup; Dublin Int'l; Manchester Int'l; Stockholm Arlanda; and Toulouse Blagnac.

The move is undertaken in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and is aimed at allowing the LCC to develop new destinations that will serve both leisure and business travelers.

Air Arabia Maroc has bases at Casablanca Int'l, Nador, Tangiers, and Fes (to open later this quarter).
