Air Arabia Maroc (3O, Casablanca Mohammed V) has announced it will open a base in Agadir Al Massira, a city along Morocco’s southern Atlantic coast, during the last quarter of the year.

Effective October 1, the Moroccan budget carrier said it will use a single A320-200 to open up 2x weekly flights to each of the following cities: Munich; Cologne/Bonn; Copenhagen Kastrup; Dublin International; Manchester; Stockholm Arlanda; and Toulouse Blagnac.

The move is undertaken in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and is aimed at allowing the LCC to develop new destinations that will serve both leisure and business travelers.

Air Arabia Maroc has bases at Casablanca Mohammed V, Nador Arwi, Tangiers, and Fes Saïss (to open later this quarter).
