Air Medical Group Holdings (AMGH) has announced its acquisition of Air Medical Resource Group (AMRG), adding to its current list of six air medical companies: Air Evac Lifeteam, AirMed International, AirMedCare Network, Lifeguard Ambulance Service, Med-Trans Air Medical Transport, and REACH Air Medical Services.

"AMGH is delighted to add AMRG's unique and widespread rotor and fixed-wing operations and markets such as Alaska and Hawaii, enabling us to partner to provide medical transport solutions to even more regions of the US," said AMGH CEO Fred Buttrell.

AMRG for its part owns Eagle Air Med, Hawaii Life Flight, Guardian Flight, Gallup Med Flight, Aeromed, Valley Med Flight, Alaska Regional LifeFlight, MountainStar AirCare, AeroCare Medical Transport, and Wiregrass Life Flight. Across its range of companies, it provides services to twelve US states as well as Puerto Rico.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
