Texas-based Hillwood Airways (Fort Worth Alliance), formerly known as ATX Air Services (Fort Worth Alliance), has been awarded its Part 121 Air Carrier Certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration. This follows its successful application for an authority to engage in interstate and foreign charter air transportation of persons, property and mail, which was awarded by the Department of Transportation in May, pending the ACC.

The carrier operates one B737-700(M), N737AT (msn 36756).

Founded in 2013, Hillwood Airways is ultimately controlled by Ross Perot, Jr., the son of Texan billionaire and two-time presidential candidate, Ross Perot. It has operated as a Part 125 carrier since its inception. In 1982, Perot Jr. and his co-pilot Jay Coburn, were the first to circumnavigate the globe in a helicopter, aboard Bell Helicopter 206L-1 LongRanger II 'Spirit of Texas'.
