Bangkok Airways (PG, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) has ordered four ATR72-600s from ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac). Announced during the ongoing 2018 Singapore Airshow, the four turboprops will be configured with 70 seats and will deliver between October 2018 and March 2019. Once in service, they will add to the Thai carrier's existing fleet of nine ATR72-600s.
Bangkok Airways is using the newer -600s to gradually replace its older ATR72-500s of which it currently operates six.
