SundAir (SR, Berlin Brandenburg International) is set to add A319-100 capacity to its current fleet of two A320-200s. According to Skyliner Aviation, the German leisure carrier will shortly take delivery of D-ASGK (msn 3853), a near nine-year-old airframe originally destined for Germania (Berlin Schönefeld) but not taken up.

SundAir had planned to operate a trio of A319s under the original version of its business plan. However, it eventually settled on the two A320-200s it currently leases from LATAM Airlines Group for its operational needs.

SundAir currently operates scheduled charter flights from Berlin Tegel and Kassel to each of Gran Canaria, Tenerife Sur, and Hurghada.
