Air Algérie (AH, Algiers) has taken redelivery of its first B737-800(P2F) following its conversion into a freighter with STAECO in Jinan, China.

Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows 7T-VJJ (msn 30202) was ferried back to Algiers late last month and is currently awaiting induction into service.

Air Algérie currently operates two B737-700s as well as a Lockheed Hercules for its dedicated cargo needs.

In other news, the Algerian national carrier has announced plans to launch three times weekly B737-800 services from Algiers to both Libreville and Douala on December 2 and 3 respectively, marking its debut in the Central African market. In West Africa, Air Algérie already operates to Abidjan, Bamako, Dakar Blaise Diagne Int'l, Niamey, Nouakchott, and Ouagadougou.
