Cimber Sterling (Sønderborg) went public at the Copenhagen stock exchange in November to finance its expansion plans but has been forced to cut its initial share price in half because of low investor demand. Its subsidiary Sterling Air (NB/Sonderborg) will add two ex-Astraeus (5W/London Gatwick) B737-700s to expand its medium haul network: Aalborg-Salzburg: weekly seasonal B737-700 service between January 30 and March 6 Billund-Salzburg: weekly seasonal B737-700 service between January 30 and March 6 Billund-Verona: weekly seasonal B737-700 service between January 30 and March 6 Copenhagen-Catania: weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on May 15 Copenhagen-Larnaca: weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on May 17 Copenhagen-Lisbon: 2x weekly seasonal B737-700 service starting on May 20 Copenhagen-London City: 2x daily ATR 42-500 service starting on March 29 (replacing Gatwick route and its own service on behalf of SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK/Copenhagen Kastrup) on the route) Cimber has already dropped its Billund-Aberdeen route again.
