WDL Aviation (Cologne/Bonn) has taken delivery of its first of four ex-Copa Airlines Colombia E190s on lease from Azorra Aviation.
Formerly HK-4505 (msn 19000114), D-ACJJ was ferried from Macon Regional to Cologne/Bonn via Bangor and Reykjavik Keflavik last week. The remaining trio of jets will arrive before October of this year.
The German carrier will use the Embraer Regional Jets to replace its existing passenger fleet of BAe Systems quadjets which currently numbers three BAe 146-200s (of which one each is in service for British Airways and HOP! (France) (A5, Paris CDG)) and one BAe 146-300 (inactive).
