flynas (XY, Riyadh) will launch its maiden route to Europe connecting Riyadh with Tirana following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Albanian government.

The Tirana Times has reported that the document was signed by the Albanian Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku and flynas President and CEO Bander Almohanna.

The launch date and other details of the flights have not yet been announced.

According to the ch-aviation capacity module, low-cost carrier flynas currently deploys its fleet of two A319-100s, twenty-six A320-200s, and two A320-200neo predominantly on flights within Saudi Arabia and regionally in the Middle East. Its intercontinental network encompasses just two destinations in Africa, namely Cairo International and Khartoum.

Israir (6H, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion) is currently the only airline connecting Tirana with the Middle East with 2x weekly flights to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion.
