Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Vallair for the lease of one P2F-converted A321-200 freighter.

In a statement, the Luxembourg-based lessor said it would place A321-200(P2F) msn 835, formerly TC-OBJ with Onur Air (Istanbul Airport), with Qantas Freight (Sydney Kingsford Smith) in 2020. According to the ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module, the 21-year-old Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac)!-o twinjet is currently undergoing conversion at Singapore Seletar.

Earlier this month, Qantas said it would operate three A321 P2F-converted freighters as part of an expanded domestic and international air freight agreement with Australia Post/StarTrack. Deliveries will start in October next year with Express Freighters Australia (QE, Sydney Kingsford Smith) to be the operating carrier.

The Australian carrier will be the modified type's launch operator.
