Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Vallair for the lease of one P2F-converted A321-200 freighter.

In a statement, the Luxembourg-based lessor said it would place A321-200(P2F) msn 835, formerly TC-OBJ with Onur Air (Istanbul Airport), with Qantas Freight (Sydney Kingsford Smith) in 2020. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the 21-year-old Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac)!-o twinjet is currently undergoing conversion at Singapore Seletar.

Earlier this month, Qantas said it would operate three A321 P2F-converted freighters as part of an expanded domestic and international air freight agreement with Australia Post. Deliveries will start in October next year with Express Freighters Australia (QE, Sydney Kingsford Smith) to be the operating carrier.

The Australian carrier will be the modified type's launch operator.
