Air Greenland (GL, Nuuk) has appointed Skytech-AIC to market its only widebody, A330-200 OY-GRN (msn 230), ahead of the delivery of its first A330-800 next year, the UK aircraft manager said in a press release.

The 21.5-year-old aircraft is owned by Air Greenland and was previously operated by Sabena (Brussels National). It is configured for 278 passengers, including 30 in business class and 248 in economy. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the aircraft's estimated current market value is USD14.63 million.

Air Greenland uses the A330 to operate its trunk route between Kangerlussuaq and Copenhagen Kastrup. Occasionally, it also flies from other Greenlandic gateways, such as Pituffik. While OY-GRN is out for maintenance, Air Greenland will wet-lease in another A330-200, from Hi Fly (5K, Beja), until March 20, 2020.

Air Greenland is set to take delivery of its A330-800 during the fourth quarter of 2021.
