Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) has transferred the single remaining B737-800 OE-LNK (MSN 28178) of subsidiary Lauda Air (Vienna) to Tyrolean Airways (Innsbruck) on July 1 as part of its operational restructuring plans and has confirmed that it has therefore returned the air operator certificate of Lauda Air. It will continue to use the Lauda Air brand until 2013 to sell seats directly to consumers on leisure oriented Austrian flights operated in cooperation with tour operators. Austrian itself has a single B777-200ER OE-LPB (MSN 28699) remaining on its own air operator certificate with all other aircraft now operated by Tyrolean as previously reported.
