Samaritan's Purse (NSP, Boone, NC) inducted its first B757-200(PCF) into operations on September 1, 2023, nearly 18 months after acquiring the aircraft.

N783SP (msn 22611) was bought by the Christian humanitarian organisation in March 2022, but then spent an extended period at Greensboro Piedmont Triad International undergoing maintenance. It was ferried to Fresno Yosemite on September 1 and then operated a relief charter to Kahului on the wildfire-stricken Hawaiian island of Maui. The 37.9-year-old jet was previously operated by Pacific Air Express (Australia) (PE, Brisbane International) through April 2021, according to the ch-aviation fleets module.

The organisation's DC-8-72(CF) has been parked at Dayton James M. Cox since July 20, 2023, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.
