Amelia (8R, Paris Le Bourget) has added two E190s on lease from CDB Aviation, the lessor announced on April 10.

VP-CFL (msn 19000570) and VP-CFT (msn 19000605) are expected to be re-registered as F-HDRI and F-HDRK, respectively. VP-CFL is 12.6 years old, whereas VP-CFT is 12.1 years old. The jets are powered by General Electric CF34-10E engines and can seat up to 98 passengers each, according to ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data data.

"With the delivery of these two E190 aircraft, Amelia shows its commitment to sustainable growth. These two aircraft will fill the gap between our 50-seaters and the A319-100," chief executive Alain Regourd said in the lessor's statement.

Two aircraft were initially delivered to China Southern Airlines and subsequently operated by Bamboo Airways. They were retired in 2024 and are currently undergoing maintenance at Jinan. Amelia did not disclose when the jets are expected to enter revenue service.

Regourd recently told ch-aviation that the company would buy the E190s, although CDB Aviation said they were delivered on lease.

Amelia currently operates one A319-100, four A320-200s, one E145, and one Falcon 100. Its subsidiary Amelia International operates one A319-100, two E135s, eight E145s, and one Learjet 45.
