SaxonAir Charter (SXN, Norwich International) has retired the sole Learjet 75 it operated since 2021. Chief executive Alex Durand confirmed to ch-aviation that the aircraft was previously operated under SaxonAir Charter's air operator's certificate (AOC) in partnership with Aperta Aviation.
The 8.6-year-old jet, now registered in Guernsey as 2-ONEL (msn 75-080), was formerly G-USHA in the United Kingdom and is configured for up to nine passengers. It was last active under SaxonAir Charter's 'SXN' code on March 16, 2025, flying between Jersey and London Biggin Hill. The aircraft was officially deregistered from the United Kingdom on April 23.
Owned by Aperta Aviation, which is not a certified operator, this Learjet 75 was placed under SaxonAir Charter's AOC and made available for charter. It began operating as 2-ONEL on May 1 with a flight back to Jersey and is now active across Europe.
ch-aviation has reached out to Aperta Aviation regarding future plans for the aircraft.
Following this, SaxonAir Charter's AOC now comprises ten fixed-wing aircraft, including a Learjet 40, a Learjet 45, two Learjet 45XRs, a Citation Jet, a Citation Jet 1, a Citation Jet 1+, a Citation XLS+, which was recently inducted, and two Phenom 300s. The company's certificate also comprises seven helicopters of various types.
