Precision Air (PW, Dar es Salaam) has announced that it would launch four times weekly service with its ATR fleet to Songwe International Airport as soon as the new international facility that will replace Mbeya airport will be opened. The airport has been under construction for over 10 years and the opening date has been postponed several times. It will be Tanzania's fifth international airport after Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro, Mwanza and Zanzibar.
